Tasting note: Showing a lifted perfumed nose of blackcurrant and mulberry fruit and followed up by a lingering spicy chocolate oak character. Rich blackcurrant, blackberry fruit are upfront with hints of nutmeg oak flavours finishing the palate. Supple varietal tannins give classical framework and weight to the wine which finishes with lingering chocolate oak, velvety tannins and an elegant finish.

Tasting note: The dark colour pre-empts a wine of dense, layered black fruit.  The aromas of anise and cracked pepper are enveloped in classic blackberry.  The glass coating texture gives way to freshness on the finish resulting in a fine balance.  The structure imparted by oak and skin contact integrates well with the bright, but intense fruit.

Tasting note: Medium to deep garnet, a flash of purple on the rim. An enticing nose of dark plum, raspberry and lavender with hints of anise and ground spice. Black fruits prevail on the palate with touches of pepper and blackcurrant. Firm, savoury yet rounded tannins balance with brightness and lift.
