We were there to taste cocktails prepared by internationally renowned bartender Ondrej Pospichal for Grey Goose\u2019s Beyond The Bar programme and to indulge in Asilo\u2019s ambience and food. Situated on the top of the Palladium hotel, Asilo is Bombay\u2019s highest bar and is truly spectacular.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2279 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/allthingsnice.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/asilo-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"asilo\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/allthingsnice.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/asilo-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/allthingsnice.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/asilo.jpg 621w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Any night with a seven drink minimum on the itinerary is destined to be a fun night. Ondrej went on to present his \u2018Signature Seven\u2019, a series of seven\u00a0cocktails\u00a0made especially with Grey Goose, inspired by spices available at local markets. One of the\u00a0cocktails\u00a0was named after the capital city, \u2018New Dilli\u2019, inspired by the DilliHaat souk where different flavors of India blend in. Nope, no drink named after Bombay but we forgive him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Programmes such as Beyond The Bar are super because it gives\u00a0bartenders in India training to be creative with cocktails\u00a0and flavors which\u00a0are different from the usual concoctions some of which we are getting tired off.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allthingsnice.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/asilo-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2292 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/allthingsnice.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/asilo-2.jpg\" alt=\"asilo 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Folks I could go on about the drinks and food but you\u2019ve got to\u00a0go to Asilo for yourself and soak it all in, my personal favourite was the New Dilli and the Martini (my 8<sup>th<\/sup> drink, on my 9<sup>th<\/sup> I attained what I call \u201cThe Wisdom\u201d) that Ondrej made specially for me.
