This annual accreditation, a brainchild of Sommelier Nikhil Agarwal (CEO \u2013 All Things Nice) opens\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0doors for consumers to acknowledge and celebrate new vintages and new wines launched in\u00a0the<\/span>market as well as provide insight to wineries about what\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0burgeoning Indian market is inclined towards.<\/p>\n The<\/span>\u00a0modus operandi involved bringing together all domestically produced wines in\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0premium category and had them efficiently categorized into a systematic tasting.\u00a0The<\/span>\u00a0actual wine consumer was then invited to judge\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0wine.130 India wineries participated in\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a06th edition of\u00a0IWCCA<\/span>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe<\/span>\u00a0Indian Wine Consumer\u2019s Choice Awards or\u00a0IWCCA<\/span>\u00a0has established itself over\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0last 6 years and has become\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0go to \u00a0guide for consumers and\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0HORECA trade who are interested in discovering Indian wine. It brings to light brands and styles that deserve recognition.\u00a0The<\/span>\u00a0competition gives back\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0power to choose correctly to\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0consumer who has evolved over\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0years and is confident in their likes and dislikes.\u00a0The<\/span>\u00a0IWCCA<\/span>\u00a0continues to create\u00a0an<\/span>\u00a0independent list of quality wines chosen by consumers themselves.
