Tasting note: The wine has a ruby red in color with purple highlights, grapey in aroma with floral (roses) and spicy notes from the aging in oak, full and balanced in flavor. A very versatile wine, its roundness and suppleness make it an excellent match with a full range of dishes as, for example, the traditional fried meats and vegetables and the pot-au-feu of Piedmont.

Dry on the palate, with delicate veining, a fine and harmonious balance, great strength and sturdy body. The aftertaste is highly persistent and delectably clean.

Dry on the palate with a fine and harmonious balance, great strength, and a sturdy body; reveals stewed wild berries, smoking tobacco, and exotic spices, leads to plush and moderate tannins; demonstrates persistence and complexity on the palate
