BLACKCURRANT VELVET
Three classic French ingredients brought together in one cocktail – cognac, red wine and cassis. A sophisticated cocktail that underlines the velvet texture, woody notes and fruit quality of VS.
INGREDIENTS
- 40ml Martell VS
- 10ml blackcurrant or blackberry liqueur
- 25ml lemon juice
- 25ml egg white
- 10ml gomme
- 25ml red wine
Shake and strain into coupette and garnish with red wine.
LIVE WITH CARACTÈRE
An after dinner cocktail full of deep, rich and satisfying flavours to complement the complex profile of Caractère.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 part Martell Caractère
- 1/2 part Lillet Rouge
- 1/5 part Kahlua
- 1 dash walnut bitters
Add ingredients to a cocktail mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Zest with grapefruit peel and discard. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
FLOAT
So simple and quick to make, use your favourite good-quality soda to personalise your Martell Float perfectly to your taste.
INGREDIENTS
- 2cl Martell cognac(Martell VS or Martell VSOP Medallion)
- 10cl sparkling soft drink (soda water, ginger ale, tonic water, lemonade)
- 5 or 6 ice cubes
Place a few ice cubes in the glass and pour in the sparkling soft drink. Float the Martell cognac by placing the back of a spoon over the soft drink and slowly pouring the cognac onto the spoon.
FLORAL CHERRY
Pleasant fruitiness mixes with a hint of menthol in this sophisticated cocktail. The hint of acidity works in harmony with the bitter sweetness of Martell VSOP and also accentuates its floral quality, while a hint of menthol keeps it light and fresh
INGREDIENTS
- 50ml Martell VSOP
- 25ml cherry juice
- 15ml lime juice
- 15ml eucalyptus syrup
Shake and double strain into a coupette and garnish with an orange twist.
TOASTED LEMON
A classic cognac cocktail, beautiful in its simplicity. The sweetness of the toasted lemon brings out the slightly caramel and delicate quality of Martell VSOP.
INGREDIENTS
- 40ml Martell VSOP
- 20ml triple sec
- 20ml sweet, grilled lemon
Shake and double strain into coupette and garnish with lemon slice.
