Ingredients
•3 ounces rye whiskey
•1 sugar cube
•Peychaud's bitters to taste
•Absinthe, Herbsaint, or absinthe substitute
•Lemon twist for garnish
Preparation
1. Chill an old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice and letting it sit while preparing the rest of the drink.
2. In a mixing glass, soak the sugar cube with Peychaud's Bitters and muddle to crush the cube.
3. Add the rye whiskey and stir.
4. Discard the ice in the chilled glass and rinse it with absinthe by pouring a small amount into the glass, swirling it around and discarding the liquid.
5. Dump the whiskey mixture the absinthe-rinsed glass
6. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Preparation
1. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir well.

Preparation
1. Pour the Scotch, water and sugar into a heat-resistant (silver-plated or pewter and tulip-shaped are recommended) mug with a handle.
2. Light the mix on fire.
3. While still ablaze, roll the mix into an identical mug and back again. Do this about 4-5 times.
4. Pour the mix into another heat resistant cup with a lemon peel, then put one of the mugs over the top to extinguish the flames before drinking.

•4 ounces strong, rich hot coffee
•1 1/2 ounce Irish whiskey
•2 teaspoons brown sugar
•1 ounce lightly whipped double cream
Preparation
1. Pour the sugar then coffee into a warm Irish coffee glass, mug, or other heat-proof glass.
2. Stir until dissolved.
3. Add the Irish whiskey and stir again.
4. Float the cream on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Do not stir again, instead, drink the coffee through the cream.

Preparation
1. Pour the bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into a collins glass filled with ice cubes.
2. Stir thoroughly.
3. Top with club soda.
4. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
You can also shake this drink. To do so, secure a mixing tin on top of the glass and give the mix a quick shake prior to adding the soda.
